Travel Medicine addresses the prevention and management of infectious diseases in travellers. Apart from administering vaccines, your Travel Medicine physician provides safety advice and identifies environmental risks.
A Travel Medicine consultation before an employee’s departure is key to ensuring a safe and healthy trip. Ideally, the travelling employee should book an appointment with our Travel Medicine Program soon after travel arrangements have been made or at least 4 weeks before their departure. However, even a last-minute traveller can benefit from a consultation with one of our physicians.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
During the visit, we will review your employee’s vaccination history, personal health history, itinerary, and planned activities to determine which vaccines they will need to help keep them healthy during their trip.
