What is Gynecology/Obstetrics?

Obstetrics and Gynecology is a combined specialty focusing on the female reproductive system (Gynecology) and pregnancy, delivery and post-partum care (Obstetrics).

What can be treated at Appletree?

At Appletree Medical Group in both Ottawa and Toronto, our OB/GYN specialists provide a wide range of care for both gynecological symptoms and pregnancy management.  Contraceptive advice, including IUD insertion and/or removal, sexually transmitted infection checks, and PAP smears are some of the services offered by our Gynecologists in both cities.

Pap test appointments can be booked directly into our Pap Testing Program without a referral. Also, patients suffering from pelvic symptoms can be seen in Ottawa by Dr. Onochie without a referral.

How Can I Access This Service?

To access our obstetrics and gynecology services, you must have a referral from a family physician.
